Sedalia's Police Chief says he is encouraging his officers to be extra vigilant at this month's Missouri State Fair. Jack Dolan has the story from Jefferson City.
Captain Tim Mosier says he doesn't know of any specific threats against the State Fair, but he is taking no chances. He says military back-up for his officers will be just a phone call away. He says the bombing at the Olympics shouldn't scare off visitors, but it will be on every security officer's mind.
Mosier says no private security agencies will be hired to work the fair.
From Jefferson City, I'm Jack Dolan.
